Guidelines for submitting promo to Riff Radio.

 

1. No "Here's the download link for our music"! If you have a site link, I'll take a look. I do not use shitty, low bitrate rips. You must send me a cd, and if I like it, I'll encode it and add it to the playlist on Riff Radio. No Exceptions.

2. If you are not HARD ROCK or HEAVY METAL don't waste your time and mine. Not sure? Then forget it. Check the playlist for Riff. You'll get a good idea what "flies" around here. I do not appreciate "coffe shop" music, pop music, and "Radio Friendly" bullshit. If Nirvarna is your big influence leave the site now. If you can't get enough Korn or Smashing Pumpkins, leave the site now. NO "nu-metal" shit! And if you think your gonna be a rapper and have some weak guitar chords going along with it, leave the site now. If your like every other Creed sounding band, or even like the Foo Fighters, leave the site now. I will not sacrifice the quality of Riff Radio for bad mixes of bad recordings.

3. Do not EXPECT airplay or reviews. If I like what I hear, I will add it to the playlist. I hardly ever do reviews, unless something totally kicks ass. This applies to ALL labels, big or small. I promote what I like, not what comes in the mail.
