Three decades after beginning its iconic journey of debauchery and decadence, MÖTLEY CRÜE has announced plans to invade Las Vegas with the city’s first-ever hard rock residency: MÖTLEY CRÜE IN SIN CITY. The world’s most notorious band will he heading to the world’s most notorious city where they will perform an extended run--starting February 3 through 19--at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, December 3 at www.motley.com, www.thejointlasvegas.com, www.ticketmaster.com and the venue box office. VIP seating and packages will also be available. The shows are produced by AEG Live.

2012’s MÖTLEY CRÜE IN SIN CITY show is sure to leave the loud impression that what happens in Vegas will be heard around the world. Vocalist VINCE NEIL, guitarist MICK MARS, bassist NIKKI SIXX and drummer TOMMY LEE have big plans for MÖTLEY CRÜE IN SIN CITY to create a never-been-done before and incredibly interactive Vegas experience. Brazil's emerging female fronted Metal band Shadowside received the Rock Show 2011 Award as "Best Metal band"

Shadowside received the Rock Show 2011 Award at a ceremony held at Capital Disco, in Santos, Brazil. At the event, that happened for the third consecutive year, the band was represented by lead singer Dani Nolden and guitarist Raphael Mattos and got the "Best Metal band in 2011" award.

At this moment, Shadowside are working hard on promoting their already highly praised "Inner Monster Out" album, produced, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Hammerfall, Dream Evil) featuring vocalists Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil) on the title track.

Music video "Angel with Horns", first single of the new album, overcame the 106000 views mark on YouTube. Such expressive numbers had the material appear on the most seen, most commented, best rated and most added to favorites videos on the site.

Empires of Eden’s creator Stu Marshall comments: “This track came into being when I was hanging with Sean in California on a recent trip. It seemed a great way to honour a great song and at the same time offer something positive towards the fight for Cancer. The usual covers of Christmas carols are fairly comical and we wanted to take it the other way, much heavier and dramatic. Working with Sean on the last EOE cd was an incredible experience so it was natural for us to work on this”.

Finland’s Myon brings the danger and adrenaline back in to rock, with their new single and video “Call Of The Senses”.

“The song is a story about extreme adrenaline search, so we needed a video that really shows all about what experiencing the extremes can be” – says the band’s leader Mika Pohjola. The video features Hustler´s cover model Kimberly Knox, a.k.a. Veera Julia Ikkala, who is also building a career as a singer.

She has also directed the video. “When I heard “Call Of The Senses” for the first time and was asked to act in the video, my decision was an immediate ”YES!” This is because, personally the song touches me deeply and for me it is easy to relate to adrenaline seeking behaviour. To me life has always been about the extremes. Truly feeling each moment and following my instincts, for better and worse. I started to then build a clear picture in my mind about how to bring this across to our viewers and ended up directing the video myself, for I had a distinct vision that I wished to show the audience: Living life to the extreme… Really feeling the adrenaline and life to the maximum in certain moments. Be it for good or bad. Evidently such lifestyle takes its toll, in a way or another. To some it can be worth it, to some it is not. But my point was not to moralize or judge, ONLY to show what such moments and lifestyle of extremes may be.” Says Kimberly Knox about the theme of the video.

Tragically on 18th of December 2011, Niko Vainikainen, who can be seen in some scenes in the video died in as extreme way as he lived. We want to respect his memory with this video as well. For he truly was a person of extremes and lived his life to the fullest, following the call of his senses.

Since being re-mastered the material now sounds much better than it did on any of the releases it previously appeared on, especially the songs from "Death Before Dishonor" and "5 Demons". In all there are 16 songs available (one never before released) and the cost is only $0.75 per MP3.

Progress continues toward finishing the writing of the new AXEMASTER release. Every small detail is being taken into account in order to be sure that this CD will end up being as good as it can possibly be. This is an extremely important release and the band is treating it as such by taking the time to do everything properly. The final product will definitely reflect this.

September 19, 2011 – Los Angeles, CA – Fort Worth’s explosive heavy rock band OH, SLEEPER has announced a partnership with non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms to present the Children of Fire Tour, which kicks off October 27 in Little Rock, AR. FASTWAY - NEW LINE-UP - NEW ALBUM - RELEASE DATES ANNOUNCED:
Fastway is the brainchild of Ex-Motörhead guitar player Fast Eddie Clarke. Formed in 1983 the first album “Fastway” entered the UK Charts at #43 and received very good reviews. One year later “All Fired Up” was released and due to high profile support tours in the US with Scorpions and Rush, the album was a great success. In 1985 “Waiting For The Roar” saw the light of day and Fastway supported AC/DC on their “Fly On The Wall”-Tour in whole Europe. 1986 the band wrote the soundtrack for the horror movie “Trick Or Treat” starring Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons.
After 1986 Fastway released two more studio albums with a different line up and several live and best of albums.
Eat Dog Eat is the first new studio album since 1990. Together with new vocalist Toby Jepson (Ex-Little Angels) Fast Eddie Clarke wrote some of his strongest songs. “Leave The Light On” or “Sick As A Dog” are only two examples of this varied album.
Fast Eddie Clarke reckons: "By far the best thing I have done since the1st Fastway album. This is classic rock at its best!!!!"
Steamhammer /SPV is proud to have Fast Eddie Clarke and Fastway on their label for Europe.
Olly Hahn, A&R Steamhammer says: "It's an honour to have Fast Eddie Clarke and his band on our label. He was THE guitar player in Motörhead but also with Fastway he delivered awesome music. With "Eat Dog Eat" he`s definitely back...probably better than ever!"
The album will be released in Germany on November 11 and in Europe on November 14.

PROGRESSIVE ROCK BAND 'HOLLOWAY' SET TO RELEASE THREE PART NARRATIVE MUSIC VIDEO The Gaze Eternal Music Video to be Released on Limited Edition DVD and Available Online. Grand Rapids, MI, USA, July 17 2011

Forward-thinking Grand Rapids based progressive metal act Holloway will release their second music video next month via their website and youtube channel entitled 'The Gaze Eternal'. Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, it is the visual companion to their 2010 three song EP of the same name.

The film is structured to be projected behind the band in a live performance and is also a stand-alone piece in its own right. This is not a music video in the traditional sense, as no band members appear on screen. Instead, the film is a lose narrative following a priest who uses necromancy to bring a plastic doll to life, questioning his faith in the process.

Cut throughout with vivid surreal imagery, the film takes viewers on a sci-fi acid trip across the void, set against the striking background of Holloway's music. The film was produced almost entirely in house by band members and frequent collaborators, on a shoe string budget.

Ross Morgan, the bands frontman and director of the video, adds that fans of the band know that the visual aspect is very much as large a part as the musical aspect. This video was created in my spare time as a way to keep myself busy and to give something different and unusual to our fans.

It's based off of the artwork that came with the EP and is a solid dose of high-strangeness, which is what you can expect from us. The video is set for an August 2nd release via the bands website and youtube channel. It will also be released as a very limited edition DVD of 50 copies, hand numbered, and signed by the band, available only from the group's website and at live performances.

The film has also been submitted to several local, national, and international film festivals. Holloway is currently recording their second full-length album and is in rehearsals for a mid-August opening slot for heavy metal godfathers Queensryche.

Italian premier classic hard rocker's "Voodoo Highway" welcome a new band member on the drums "Vincenzo Zairo".

About Vincenzo Zairo:

Vincenzo Zairo was born in the deep south of the Italian peninsula and after having spent a happy childhood he moved with his family in the wetlands east of Emilia Romagna.

In his teenage years he grows his passion for drums and rock'n' roll in all it's different forms, being inspired from bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Scorpions and many other bands also from the eightes such as Pantera.

With such different inspirations he's able to create a mix of technical, expressive and really personal style. He starts his career in a cover band (The Random) when he was 16 years old, playing songs of bands like Queen, Toto, Deep Purple, Kansas etc.

Vincenzo takes several lessons and drums master with prominent artists in the Italian music scene as Stefano Peretto and Iarin Munari.

The bands in which he's played are: "The Random" (cover band), Twilight Hall (heavy/power metal band), Didgeridoo (The Funky), Fuckheroes (cover band).

He currently plays in Altair (power/prog metal band) and has just joined, thanks to the proposal of his friends Matteo Bizzarri and Filippo "Gonzo" Cavallini, the hard rock relation act from Italy, Voodoo Highway.

R.U.S.T. RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM
80s style rockers are “Forged in the Fire of Metal”

Cyprus-based heavy metal rockers R.U.S.T. announce their self-released debut album, “Forged in the Fire of Metal”, out on August 5th.

In true old school underground manner the album is a complete DIY production with the band undertaking all recording and mixing tasks in their own home-made recording studio. Although not one of its releases, Pitch Black Records is proudly supporting it as part of its continuing efforts to support and promote the local scene of Cyprus.

Admittedly the sound might be rough and not polished to perfection but considering the band’s DIY approach this is a must. Clearly evident throughout their music however are two fundamental elements of rock music; spirit and passion! The same two elements that the band has become known to portray during their live shows along with their infinite energy. R.U.S.T.’s music is full of melodies and an immense amount of energy and passion with the end result screaming out loud “ROCK N’ F’IN ROLL!”

With bands such as SAVATAGE, WARLORD, ACCEPT, SAXON, among others, listed as their influence, R.U.S.T. were formed in 2003 and in 2007 released a 4-track EP. An extremely active member of the local scene in Cyprus they have performed live numerous times and they are also the main organisers of the annual 2 day metal festival Power of the Night which this year will take place on July 16th and 17th in Nicosia. A limited number of copies of R.U.S.T.’s album will be available at the festival for purchase.

Consisting of nine tracks and a 16-page booklet containing hand-drawn artwork, “Forged in the Fire of Metal” will be available worldwide through Pitch Black Records and its distribution partners as well as directly from the band. It will also be available as a digital download through major mp3 stores.

The Runaways changed the landscape and perception of women making music, and the influence of their short but bold career continues. The five teenagers who shattered glass ceilings with platform boots get feted by legendary artists, indie darlings and up-and-comers on Main Man Records’ June 28 release, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT is a 2-disc collection with 36 tracks that span The Runaways entire catalog. Their best known songs, like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens Of Noise,” are represented alongside more obscure tunes like “Hollywood” and “Born To Be Bad.” The fullness of the selection makes it evident how generations of artists, from L7 and The Go-Gos to Redd Kross and Guns n’ Roses, call back to the passion-fueled rock sensibility of The Runaways.

While the individual interpretations of each track explore the original contributions of Cherie Currie, Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West, Jackie Fox, Vicki Blue, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT also includes two performances by original Runaways band members: lead vocalist Cherie Currie’s rocking remake of fan-favorite “American Nights,” and “Dirty Magazines”, the last recording made by drummer Sandy West with her band Blue Fox.

'Till It Bleeds (Official Album Version)

Voodoo Highway is one of the most exciting band of the Italian rock, hard rock and metal scenario. The band is considered by the most as a true revelation and by the audiences as an extremely enjoyable and stimulating experience, with their irreverent and circus like live shows and the great relationship that the band is able to establish with the fans.

Voodoo Highway started their journey in late spring 2010 and then immediately recorded their first EP "This Is Rock n' Roll, Cocks!" which has sold over 1000 copies all around Italy and attracted the attention of important names of music history such as Craig Gruber (formerly ELF, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Gary Moore) who spoke about the band: "The new movement of Heavy Metal has arrived! This band is the next Deep Purple!".

After a year gigging the band has recorded its first LP called "Broken Uncle's Inn": a concentrate of the best '70 hard rock that meets commercial and very easy listening melodies.

The first reactions from the music press and from the audience are exciting (“Voodoo Highway are the best thing to come out of Italy since Super Mario” - Classic Rock Channel - ) and the band is actually touring, always getting a full house at every show.

Some foreign gigs are expected for the band during Autumn 2011 in UK and Denmark. The highway of Voodoo seems to be long and filled with rock n' roll.
